Web Folders
You can upload image files to
your web site through Web Folders. Web Folders make it easy to transfer files to
FTP sites or Frontpage webs using Windows Explorer which can treat these remote
locations like local drives. First double click the “Add Web Folder” icon. (see
below).

Next you enter the location of
the FTP site or Frontpage web as a typical web site address:

Next you supply your username
and password because Web Folders does not give just anyone access to a protected
FTP site or Frontpage web.

Finally, you enter a name for
this web folder. You can accept the default which is identical to the location
or enter something easier to remember.

Once you have set up a Web
Folder it is easy to drag and drop files into your Frontpage web’s images
folder.
Web Folders (Windows XP)
1. Browse to My Network Places in Windows Explorer

2. Right click and select Map Network Drive...

3. On the Map Network Drive dialog box click the "Sign
up for online storage or connect to a network server." link.

4. The Add Network Place Wizard is well hidden in
Windows XP just
like everything else!
5. Select "Choose another network location" then click
Next button.
6. Enter the web site address.
7. Edit the name for this network place if you want to.
8. You have successfully created this network place.
